We were all thrilled to have our daughter India declared dry. It
was simply amazing how quickly the program altered her sleep patterns.
Immediately things began to change and gave all of us hope, something
that had waned over time. It was such a joy to me to know that India
was getting better and that we had caught her problem in time. Before
Pacific International got involved,
I was beginning to wonder if I was doing something wrong in raising
my child. I also wondered if she would eventually conquer this problem.
Our doctor had mentioned that India might need help with her problem,
he explained a device that would help. The consultant already knew
that we had tried reward and punishment to no avail, and had many
unanswered questions, we were typical parents. He explained that
the problem stemmed from an abnormal sleep pattern. There had been
a history of heavy sleepers on my side of the family, so this problem
wasn't new to me. None the less I still didn't have any answers.
I also didn't realize how our attempts to work the problem on our
own was actually compounding the problem. We all had become frustrated
and India was losing self esteem at a gradual decline. We as parents
love our children and hope we have the answers to all there dilemmas,
but Pacific International, sure helped us out on this one.
The help from our case worker was invaluable, she always directed
her letters to India and made the instructions simple enough for
her to understand. She was very understanding, supportive and encouraging.
Its not easy, you have to be willing to commit yourself to the program,
but boy is it worth it! The real clincher for us was once the months
of ground work were laid, Vicki suggested India say her sentence
to a mirror. My child had always liked to look at herself, and I'm
sure that is what really put the final touch on the program and
allowed India to be declared dry.
I take spending money very seriously! We are like most families,
money is hard earned. The cost for the plan was somewhat more than
we anticipated, and I'm sure there are other companies that offer
a less expensive device/program, but at what cost to the individual,
unique case? Do they offer an iron clad guarantee? I wouldn't take
a penny back, the individual care (the many attempts to find the
key to our problem) , my relief as a parent that I got the help
I needed, and best of all, now my child won't have to struggle with
this serious problem or the consequences from it any longer, makes
it a very sound investment. Pacific International has a long standing
record of success and I'm pleased to add my testimonial. It really
works and its worth every penny to me to have India dry. I wish
I had had the opportunity to the same program as a child.
Sincerely,
Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Brown Jr.

Dear Mr. Draper,
We are so thrilled to have Andy totally dry at night now. Thank
you so much for your program. Andy always slept so deeply, but now
he sleeps more normally and it has made all the difference needed
to stay dry every night. Before starting your program, Andy had
only two or three dry nights in his life. I'm so glad that we started
the program shortly after Andy turned 6, for I know that it would
have been many years before he became dry without the use of your
program.
Everyone at Pacific International has been so friendly and helpful.
Please thank
Beverly (Andy's case director) for us, also.
Most sincerely,
Kim Geer
Dear Pacific International:
I am returning two alarms and corresponding wire attachments that
were used by Sarah Lunny during her enuresis treatment. Please accept
my apologies for the delay.
Sarah, age 6, began her treatment in late June, 1994. At that time,
she had never gone more than one night without wetting. She was
wearing pull-up disposable training pants. The wetting problem did
not really concern us up to this point. Previously, we had tried
waking her up to go around midnight before we went to sleep at night
and getting her up again as soon as we woke at 6:00 am. This was
not successful. Sarah was a very deep sleeper and very difficult
to wake. We tried reducing liquids in the evening, but this seemed
unfair because she would be thirsty and we did not want to penalize
or punish her in any way for something she had no control over.
When she was 5, her pediatrician prescribed nose- drops that would
dry her up and stop the wetting. I was not comfortable giving Sarah
this medicine as it had potential side effects; nor could I see
its benefit, because the drops masked a symptom but did not change
the cause of the behavior. Around this time, I saw your ad and sent
away for information, but did not feel it was a problem yet and
did not pursue it any further.
Sarah was 6 in June. Her older sister was beginning to have friends
sleep over and Sarah would get very quiet and withdrawn when she
heard someone would be spending the night, We had just returned
from a vacation with another family, and during that time, Sarah
would sneak into our room early in the morning to hide her wet pull
ups in our trash so the other family's children would not know she
wore them, It was not until that time that I realized how much the
wetting bothered Sarah. That's when we decided that the bed wetting
was a problem for Sarah, who was upset and ashamed of herself. We
were very concerned about her self image and felt that this should
be addressed immediately before it became a permanent problem,
Pacific International contacted me around this time and we agreed
to a visit just to find out more about the program. When we found
out her enuresis was probably caused by a sleep disorder. we decided
it was time to deal with it .
That summer I felt as is I had a new born baby. I was up 2. 3 sometimes
4 times a night with false alarms. changing sheets or just trying
to get her to react to the alarm. It was frustrating but Pacific
International stayed with us. providing advice and support .We had
to change alarms several times. and even put one in our room because
she would turn off the alarm and crawl back into bed without waking.
She would have temper tantrums when we tried to get her to go into
the bathroom and wash her face or change her pillow case. In the
morning. she remembered nothing. This went on for about ten weeks.
Suddenly. as of her first day of school. she stopped wetting and
woke up dry every morning. It has been almost four months now and
we have not had a relapse.
I want to commend Beverly and Pacific International for a job well
done. Sarah is now dry and extremely proud of herself. The program
provided encouragement and really helped to boost her self esteem.
She enjoyed her letters from Beverly and felt very important because
she was getting mail. The pep talks did wonders. Whenever we talk
about how proud we are of her, her face lights up. She has become
more confident and independent. She is overcoming her bashfulness
and doing things for herself. She no longer clings to us. She sleeps
better at night and wakes up refreshed. I want to thank you for
helping us to achieve this.
I would recommend your program without hesitation. As a matter
of fact. if you would send me some literature. I would like to pass
it on to my pediatrician. who was impressed with the results and
would like to know more about Pacific International so she can suggest
it for other patients.

Dear Mr. Draper,
We are writing this letter to thank you and your staff for all
the assistance you have given us in reaching our goal: A DRY SLEEP!
I don't have to explain how good it feels to you, your staff: or
anyone else that suffers the same problem, to have finally overcome
it. We were told those famous last words by our Pediatrician, "Don't
worry, he'll 'outgrow' it". Well you know what? We listened
to him too long. As parents, we knew it was time to do something.
He was 9 years old and it was becoming a self esteem problem. His
sisters, younger than him, were able to "hold it" all
night long. We can remember him falling asleep on the floor while
watching T. V. at someone's house and us waking him 20 minutes later
for fear of being wet, to find out it was too late; he had wet in
that short time and we had to be discreet about it!
Yes, there were setbacks, but our caseworker Sarah expected &/or
knew exactly how to handle it. We were told it would not be easy;
We had to keep records and mail them in every two weeks. That was
not hard! There was hope: Light at the end of the tunnel. We were
washing sheets only ONCE a week! Believe it?
We argued with our insurance to cover the cost. We lost with them,
but we won with our son. Our Flexible Spending reimbursed us but
it was well worth the fee. If he needed braces we'd have done it.
This was much more than just a dry bed I dry sleep: It was his ego.
His self esteem. His own psychological well being. He sleeps better
and is much more tolerant and has a feeling of being in control.
We strongly recommend your program and would be obliged to speaking
to anyone who needs our opinion &/or help. Thank you so very
much!

Dear Mr. Draper,
My apologies to you and your organization for the delay in my responding
to your letter dated July 7, 1993.
It is my extreme pleasure to commend Pacific International for
the effectiveness of its program. Charles has been dry since July
1993 and there has been consistent improvement in his sleep patterns
throughout the recent months. I will be honest that prior to achieving
dryness, there were times of frustration with his unwillingness
to splash and respond to waking, but I'd advise all involved to
stick to the program, continually encourage and follow the directions
to the letter.
One final thought. ...my wife and I heard about Pacific International
through an insert in our local newspaper. It's funny, Charles' malady
was know to just a few close relatives and friends. Within two days,
each one of them passed the insert to us. A blessing when all is
said and done. Since it really is a problem widely experienced by
both young and old alike, wouldn't it make more sense to promote
yourselves in a visible manner? Just a thought!
Once again, on behalf of Charles, my wife, and myself, thanks ever
so much.
Sincerely,
Charles S. Russo

Dear Mr. Draper.
I am sorry this letter is so long in coming. My daughter Jennifer,
8 years old at the time was dry within 4 months! I did not write
at that time because I knew it would not last but it did! When I
found her folder of letters from the case worker, I realized that
I had to write.
We had worked with Jennifer using every technique we came across.
We tried sleep tapes, home remedies, waking her in the middle of
the night, and keeping her off liquids hours prior to bedtime just
to name a few! Jennifer was at an age where she was constantly invited
to slumber parties. We had her hide a pull- up in her overnight
bag. I would secretly call the hostess's mom and have her quietly
remind Jennifer to use her "special pajamas".
When we were visited at our home, we were very skeptical. How could
she drink water right before going to bed and have a dry night'?
It didn't make sense, but we were willing to try anything. The first
few nights were tough. I had to remind myself that at least I was
only helping Jennifer change a few sheets, as opposed to washing
all the bed linens and mattress pad. After the first week we saw
the first real improvements. She would run in and tell us about
her dry bed and if she had an accident she would see that it was
only one night in a series of dry nights thanks to the cards she
had to filled out. The report cards gave her small triumphs during
the week. We had gotten over yelling and getting upset at her in
the mornings a while back, but now we could really get excited at
a good nights sleep.
The program was more than just the pad, there were great ideas
that really changed her sleep pattern. The whole program was about
Jennifer really getting the sleep she needed. I had never knew that
and am more than happy to share this information with others. We
saw an improvement in the way Jennifer behaved in the afternoons.
We feel it was because she was not over tired. She has always been
a wonderful daughter, but thanks to this program, she is much happier
with herself!
I want to say again, that averaging the stress, wash costs and
experimental remedies, certainly made the cost worth it in the long
run. That is how we look at it this was a long term investment.
Sincerely,
Judy, Dudley, Eddie and Jennifer Turner
